A third new contract was signed under which an investor fund of US $ 5 million was set up to develop renewable energies and enhance access to electricity services in the cities of KIFFA and NEMA located in the east region of Mauritania.

The Minister stressed the importance of this agreement, which is signed on the sidelines of the first day of the conference Mauritanides, which has become a regular occasion to inform the actors about Mauritania’s wealth in the fields of mines and hydrocarbons and its advantages related to security and stability.
He added that the signing of this agreement and the certificates made by the heads of the major international companies working in the field in their interventions today is a good witness to the developments that Mauritania has experienced over the past years, which covered all fields.
